וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֧ם שְׁמוּאֵ֛ל לִקְרַ֥את שָׁא֖וּל בַּבֹּ֑קֶר וַיֻּגַּ֨ד לִשְׁמוּאֵ֜ל לֵאמֹ֗ר בָּֽא־שָׁא֤וּל הַכַּרְמֶ֙לָה֙ וְהִנֵּ֨ה מַצִּ֥יב לוֹ֙ יָ֔ד וַיִּסֹּב֙ וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֔ר וַיֵּ֖רֶד הַגִּלְגָּֽל׃
Le lendemain, de bonne heure, Samuel s’en alla à la rencontre de Saül. Mais on lui rapporta la nouvelle que Saül, arrivé à Carmel, venait de s’y élever un trophée, qu’il avait ensuite changé de direction, s’acheminant vers Ghilgal.
